Submission vs Traditional Islam

"If Muhammad came back to this world, the "Muslims" would stone him to death. The religion they follow today has nothing to do with the Islam, i.e., Submission, preached by Abraham and Muhammad. Everything the "Muslims" do is wrong: the First Pillar (Shahaadah), the call to Salat prayer (Azan), the ablution (Wudu), the daily Salat prayers, the Zakat charity, Hajj, and all other practices of Islam (see Appendices 2, 13, & 15)."

As prophesized in 25:30, the majority of traditional Muslims have abandoned the Quran. Practically every facet of Islam has in some way or another become corrupted.
Almost every pillar of Islam has become corrupted

Shahada [Testimony]

Quran teaches:

Traditional Islam teaches:

  • Bearing witness to God alone is not sufficient: we must additionally bear witness that "Muhammed is a messenger of God".

Salat [Contact Prayer]

Quran teaches:

  • Ablution: 4 steps (5:6)

  • Tone of prayer: moderate (17:110)

  • Sura Fatiha: "The Key" for Contact with God (1:1-7)

  • "Do not call any names with God" (72:18)

  • "Establish prayer to remember Me" (20:14)

  • "Prayer and worship dedicated to God alone" (6:162)

  • "No distinctions between messengers" (2:136, 2:285, 3:84)

Traditional Islam teaches:

  • Ablution: 8-12 steps

  • Tone of prayer: silent

  • Sura Fatiha: skip the first verse (Basmalah), add "Ameen" (non-Arabic word) at the end

  • Azaan (call to prayer): must include Muhammed's name

  • Before ending prayer: directly call upon Muhammed ("peace be upon you, Oh Prophet"); and remember Muhammed, Abraham, and their families

Zakat [Obligatory Charity]

Quran teaches:

  • Zakat is given on the 'day of harvest' (whenever we receive 'net income') (6:141)

  • The proportion that came to us from Abraham is 2.5% (1/40)

Traditional Islam teaches:

  • Zakat should be given given only once a year

  • Zakat may be given on savings, and capital assets (not actual income)

  • Proportion of Zakat can range based on the type of income (up to 20%)

Hajj [Pilgrimage]

Quran teaches:

  • Must be observed during the four Sacred Months - Zul-Hijjah, Muharram, Safar, & Rabi` I (12th, 1st, 2nd, 3rd months) (2:197; 9:2, 9:36)

  • Only one "Sacred Mosque" recognised (2:196, 2:217...)

Traditional Islam teaches:

  • Must be observed during a few days in Zul-Hjjjah

  • The Sacred Months are Rajab, Zul-Qi'dah, Zul-Hijjah, and Muharram (7th, 11th, 12th, 1st months)

  • Two "Sacred Mosques" - Muhammed's burial place being the 2nd one

  • Hajj is incomplete without visiting Muhammed's tomb

What does the Quran say about Hadith?

Whose hadith is more truthful than GOD's? (4:87)

So which hadith after this will they believe? (7:185)

In which hadith other than God and His revelations do they believe? (45:6)

This is not a fabricated hadith, but a confirmation of what came before, provides details for everything, and a guidance and mercy for those who believe (12:111)

God sent down the best hadith (39:23)

Are you surprised by this hadith? (53:59)

Are you taking this hadith lightly? (56:81)

So let me deal with those who reject this hadith (68:44)

So which hadith after this will they believe? (77:50)

All other occurrences of the word hadith (total 23) have a negative theme attached to it, like 31:6; "They purchase baseless hadith to mislead people without knowledge". Or 53:34, which challenges us, "Let them produce a HADITH like this".

Only two verses in total connection with the prophet Muhammed (33:53 and 66:3), and both prophetically criticize 'hadith' (both the 'listening' and 'spreading' of hadiths).

Interestingly, even the word 'sunna' is absent in connection to the prophet Muhammed in the entire Quran. It doesn't exist. We only find the 'sunna' (way) of GOD (17:77, 33:38, 33:62, 48:23). How can such a fundamental "pillar" of Islam have zero Quranic basis?**

Prophet's duty: no more than delivering

Upon you [O Muhammed] is only delivering (3:20)

If you turn away, then know that the sole duty of our messenger is to deliver the message efficiently (5:92)

Upon the messenger is only delivering (5:99)

[Say], "this QURAN has been revealed to me to warn with to you and whomever it reaches" (6:19)

Upon you [O Mohammed] is only delivering - and upon Us is their account (13:40)

Can the messengers do anything but deliver the complete message? (16:35)

Upon you [O Muhammed] is only delivering (16:82)

Upon the messenger is only delivering [the message] completely (25:54)

Upon the messenger is only delivering [the message] completely (29:18)

We did not send you [O Muhammed] as their guardian. Upon you is only to deliver (42:48)

Say, "I am no different from other messengers. I have no idea what will happen to me or to you. I only follow what is revealed to me. I am no more than a profound warner." (46:9)

God teaches the Quran

God thus clarifies His revelations for you, that you may be guided. (3:103)

Notice how we explain the revelations, then how they still deviate (6:46)

Notice how we explain the revelations so they may undertstand (6:65)

We thus explain the revelations to make clear the criminal's path (6:55)

We thus explain the revelations, to prove you received knowledge, and to clarify them for people who know (6:105)

We thus explain the revelations so the people may think (7:32)

We thus explain the revelations so the people may be appreciative (7:58)

We explain the revelations for people who know (9:11)

We thus explain the revelations for people who reflect (10:24)

We thus explain the revelations so the people may understand (30:28)

GOD is the teacher of Quran (55:1-2)

(O Prophet), do not move your tongue in anticipation of Quran. It is We who put it together as a Quran! Once We recite it, you shall follow such a Quran. Then, it is we who reveal it. (75:16-19)

The prophet also preached the Quran alone

Do they not reflect upon this Quran? - if it was from other than GOD, they would have found contradictions! (4:82)

We sent down to you this book truthfully, confirming previous scriptures, superseding them. You shall judge among them according to what is sent down from GOD (5:48)

We place shields around their minds, to prevent them from understanding it, and deafness in their ears. And when you preach your Lord, using the Quran ALONE, they run away in aversion. (17:46)

Do not rush into uttering Quran before it is completely revealed

He (Muhammed) was did not speak out of personal desire. It (Quran) is but a divine revelation. Dictated by the most Powerful. (55:3-6)

(O Prophet), DO NOT move your tongue in anticipation of Quran. It is WE who put it together as a Quran! Once WE recite it, you shall follow such a Quran. (75:16-18)

We send down in the Quran healing and mercy for the believers. At the same time, it only increases the wickedness of the transgressors. (17:82)

Obeying Muhammed the man vs the messenger

Muhammed the "man" made mistakes, which God calls him out for in several occasions. This suggests we should follow Muhammed as a "messenger" (who uttered only Quran) and not 'necessarily' follow him as a "man" (who may hold his own personal opinions, ideas, etc).

66:1

O you prophet, ❕why do you prohibit❕ what God has made lawful for you, just to please your wives? God is Forgiver, Merciful

80:1-10

He (Muhammed) ❕frowned and turned away❕. When the blind man came to him. How do you know? He may purify himself. Or he may take heed, and benefit from the message. As for the rich man. You gave him your attention. Even though you could not guarantee his salvation. The one who came to you eagerly. And is really reverent. You ignored him.

33:37

Recall that you said to the one who was blessed by God, and blessed by you, "Keep your wife and reverence God," and you hid inside yourself what God wished to proclaim. ****Thus, you ❕feared the people, when you were supposed to fear only God.❕

4:79-80

(O Prophet), anything good that happens to you is from God. ❕Anything bad that happens to you is from you.❕ We have sent you as a messenger to the people. God suffices as a witness. Whoever obeys the messenger is obeying God. As for those who turn away, we did not send you as their guardian.

17:73-75

They ❕almost diverted you❕ from the revelations we have given you. They wanted you to fabricate something else, in order to consider you a friend. If it were not that we strengthened you, ❕you almost leaned towards them❕ just a little bit. Had you done that, we would have doubled the retribution for you in this life, and after death, and you would have found no one to help you against us.

40:66

(O Prophet), say, ❕"I have been forbidden from worshipping the idols you worship besides God,❕ when the clear revelations came from my Lord. I was commanded to submit to the Lord of the universe.

60:12

O you prophet, when the believing women (who abandoned the disbelievers) come to seek asylum with you pledge to you that they will not set up any idols besides God, nor steal, nor commit adultery, nor kill their children, nor fabricate any falsehood, ❕nor disobey you when you are "RIGHT"❕, you shall accept their pledge, and pray to God to forgive them. God is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

Uniquely, Muhammed's only miracle was the Quran

They swore by GOD, solemnly, that if a miracle came to them, they would surely believe. Say, "Miracles come only from GOD." For all you know, if a miracle did come to them, they would continue to disbelieve. (6:109)

If you do not produce a miracle that they demand, they say, "Why not ask for it?" Say, "I simply follow what is revealed to me from my Lord." (7:203)

They say, "How come no miracle came down to him from his Lord?" Say, "The future belongs to God; so wait, and I am waiting along with you." (10:20)

Those who disbelieved say, "If only a miracle could come down to him from his Lord (we will then believe)." You are simply a warner - every community receives a guiding teacher. (13:7)

They said, "If he could only show us a miracle from his Lord!" Did they not receive sufficient miracles with the previous messages? (20:133)

They even said, "Hallucinations," "He made it up," and, "He is a poet. Let him show us a miracle like those of the previous messengers." (21:5)

"You are no more than a human like us. Produce a miracle, if you are truthful." (26:154)

They said, "If only miracles could come down to him from his Lord!" Say, "All miracles come only from GOD; I am no more than a manifest warner." Is it not enough of a miracle that we sent down to you this book, being recited to them? This is indeed a mercy and a reminder for people who believe. (29:50-51)

Majority: on the wrong path

God has statistically ruled out that the 'majority' are disbelievers. In fact, per 12:106, even the majority of 'believers' in God associate partners with him. Therefore, the true believers (those who do not associate partners with God) are a minority of a minority.

6:116

If you obey the majority of people on earth, they will divert you from the path of God. They follow only conjecture; they only guess.

12:103

Most people, no matter what you do, will not believe.

12:106

The majority of those who believe in God do not do so without committing idol worship.

19:73

When our revelations are recited to them, clearly, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of us is more prosperous? Which of us is in the majority?"

Every prophet is assigned enemies to deceive their followers

Every prophet, including the last prophet, Muhammed, is assigned enemies. God tells us why in 6:113 - it is a 'trap' for the disbelievers who do not believe God's word and pursue fabrications.

We have permitted the enemies of every prophet - human and jinn devils - to inspire in each other fancy words, in order to deceive. Had your Lord willed, they would not have done it. You shall disregard them and their fabrications. This is to let the minds of those who do not believe in the Hereafter listen to such fabrications, and accept them, and thus expose their real convictions. (6:112-113)

Note: 6:112-113 comes right before God tells us that God is the only source of law (حكم) and that the Quran is fully detailed (مفصل) in 6:114.

We also set up against every prophet enemies from among the guilty. Your Lord suffices as a guide, a master. (25:31)

Note: 25:31 comes right after the prophet says, "My Lord, my people have deserted this Quran" (25:30).

Soon after Muhammed's death, hypocrites and those who reverted to polytheism engaged in the oral transmission of hearsay, thereby creating another source besides the Quran.  Centuries later, they were collected, written and codified as the teachings of various sects.  Those who follow these hearsays and fabrications pretend to follow Muhammed, while they abandon the only book delivered by him.  They will be surprised on the Day of Judgment to see that Muhammed will reject their fabrications and idolatry, by following the rules expressed in 78:38 and 19:87.  Muhammed will intercede for them by fulfilling the prophecy in verse Quran 25:30:

And the messenger said: "My Lord, my people have deserted this Qur'an." (25:30)

Importance of one God & one source

Do you believe in the hereafter?

According to God, you don't believe in the hereafter if you can't mention God alone and uphold His word alone. These 3 verses are a test for those who claim to believe in the hereafter with their tongues.

When you read the Quran, we place between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter an invisible barrier. (17:45)

When God ALONE is mentioned, the hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter shrink with aversion. But when others are mentioned beside Him, they become satisfied. (17:45)

We have permitted the enemies of the prophet to inspire each other in fancy words. Had your Lord willed, they wouldn't have done it. This is to let the minds of those who do not believe in the hereafter listen to such fabrications, and accept them, and thus expose their real convictions. (6:113)

God asks: do you follow a book where you can find anything you can wish?

Thousands of hadith narrations and dozens of books in existence easily make it a book where you can find "anything you wish".

Should We treat those who submitted the same as those who are criminals? What is wrong with you, how do you judge? Or do you have a book which you study? In it, you can find what you wish? (68:35-38)

God: do you follow a consistent source?

It is interesting that almost all conflict between Islamic sects trace themselves back to Hadith books. Sunni's reject Shia hadiths, Shia's reject Sunni hadiths, and so on.

God cites the example of a man who deals with disputing partners (Hadith), compared to a man who deals with only one consistent source (Qur´án). Are they the same? Praise be to God; most of them do not know. (39:29)

Compilation of unaccaptable Hadith

Besides violating the Quran, Hadith books also contain too many unacceptable contradictions and ethical issues.
